i create from the experiences that surround life. sometimes the smallest object can become inspirational especially bones. i enjoy looking at anatomy books, scientific illustrations, maps all while watching gory scifi horror movies.

i believe art should question, inspire, and reflect the present or the particular environment with expressionist drama. even though i tend to experiment with different techniques for a particular series, i always seem to want to express energy within my brush works.

i received my B.A. and M.A. from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA in 2007 and 2009. Currently, i'm teaching beginning art, printmaking, and non-traditional mixed medium classes at the Louisiana School for the Math, Science, and Arts while also teaching art history at Bossier Parish Community College in Leesville and Natchitoches, LA until the spring of 2016.
